Gordon, thanks for all the information. I did the Ubi trick, and apt-get updated my system to 2.6.1. Luckily on the B3 this should be a quick fix. The is because the B3 is already set to support Apple devices by means of the Avahi daemon. The strongest reason is that my friend will be helping me out with the administration part, and Glftpd is the way to go then.
